Nel bicchiere

Dedicated to the Portapiana historical district at the border between Cosenza town and the rural areas, this wine expresses all enological characteristics of the territory. Exclusively produced with grapes coming from the Vineyard overlooking the cellar, Portapiana is a Crù made of antique autochthon grapes. Strongly mineralized and savoury with notes of spice and incense, thick evident tannic texture, it is ideal in the matching with meat, aged cheese and traditional cuisine. Vinification is at controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for 15 days. It is refined in small oak barrels of first, second and third passages for about a year and it is completed by a passage into steel and through a standstill in bottles for at least six months before the sale.
